Notes About The Poem

When Dawn Returns

It is a another joyful dawn
 of reaching silhouettes,
and misty morning fields-
the time when clouds
come down to visit
spreading calm upon the earth

All too soon the sun is calling a return
back to the sky they must
dissipate like magic,
leaving traces on the grasses
along spider webs and fences
to drip slowly from leaves with
blithe promises of return,
when in the time of another dawn
sky and earth for a moment
 will dance as one.

How pleasant to have discovered you today! Your writing is gorgeous, your metaphor seemingly endless, and always impressive. I'm hungry for this kind of writing, and gratified to see it in such quantity here. I hope you will give me the benefit of some real critique of my own work,
