When Daddy Filled the Stockings

We let him think we were asleep And didn't know he was the one Who filled the stockings for Santa. We didn't want to spoil his fun. We would have known Daddy filled it, The bulging sock we were dreaming of, Because along with the nuts and candy, It was so chock full of love. By Joyce
