What's the Use
What’s the use
What’s the use in writing
if there’s no one left to read
Pen our deep affections,
the feelings that we bleed
Why write about the season
out walking in the snow
Moonlit glow encounters
with love that seems to grow
A sunrise early morning
with dew upon the ground
Twilight shadows dancing,
a soft alluring sound
A flower in the garden
like daffodils in spring
Bluebirds in the branches,
the wondrous song they sing
Of brokenhearted sorrow,
a sadness that we feel
So many tears we’re crying,
we tried hard to conceal
No sense in wasting paper
or using special ink
To have it sit unnoticed
at least that’s what I think
Why try to be creative
when in the end you lose
If all that you end up with
are just a bunch of views
So, what’s the use in writing
it’s just a waste of time
Like this one posted here tonight
another stupid rhyme
