What's Left of Me
What's Left of Me
Since you left, I'm but a ghost -
a figment of who I used to
be, as the essence of soft shadows
follow me. The sun has lost its
golden glow and the moon its silver
halo. My heart aches to be free
for without you, I'm not me, and
since you left, I'm but a ghost.
Since you left, I’m only a specter -
an entity suspended in time, locked in
a maze, blending with the essence of
soft shadows. A prisoner of gray, misty
dreams, I’m doomed to love you until
the sands of time run out, and
black holes spill their dark secrets. Fading
since you left, I'm only a specter.
