Whats In a Name
Down in the GLEN by the babbling BROOKE
A ROSE grew with a heavenly HUW
It’s stem was long looking up at the SKYE
No THORN on it to make you CRYE
Next to the ROSE some crocus will grow
Its SAFFRON used by one and all
What’s that I can smell so divine
Reminds me of a chicken ball
Must be the SAGE growing on the ground
In THYME we will use to make a hotpot for WINTER
AUTUMN BLOSSOM CASCADE all around
HOLLY and the IVY means that Christmas is near
The names I have used capital letters
