Whats Going On

There must be something going on

Because for ages now 
I have not written a song
Then I realise it has not been that long
As a nasty virus came along

So all I ask is can we all stay strong
In hoping that mother nature got it wrong
As it's not over yet, is it?

Despite now lock down slowly easing 
And it being so appealing 
We must surely stop appeasing
Those that think it is teasing to forget

As there must still be something going on
As even now as I write this song
The Deadly Virus has not yet gone

Has It?

There was some positive news tonight on a vaccine being developed here in the UK... but still a long way off methinks... and even if it is a goer, production and distribution, plus vaccinating everyone over here just in the UK could take years.
