WHAT’S FARE IN THE SOUTH

Everything Southern
fried — pickles, bacon 
green tomatoes and
chicken — with cornbread,
biscuits and gravy.
...and so forth

As someone who was raised by a mother from the South, this brought back memories - also have you tried boiled peanuts? (but you pronounce them "bald" peanuts in the South!)
