What You Sow You Reap
You broke his heart and left him there to bleed
Then found another heart your lust to feed
You threatened and you spoke some vicious lies
And basked in glory of your masked disguise
You made the others think your love was true
Forgetting what was old you sought the new
You thought you’d covered up what you had done
But all will come to light beneath the sun
For what we sow we know is what we’ll reap
One day your heart will break and you will weep
A principle that’s found in every creed
With sword you slay with self-same sword you’ll bleed
For justice does not long in slumber stay
One day he will awake and have his way
