What You See

What you see is what you get,
But what you don't see, you don't get.
Because, you see, I have worked very
Long and hard at hiding it away.
I have built a wall in front of me,
But I am learning that it's just 'a' wall,
I can always walk around it.

The late Flip Wilson's character of Geraldine came to mind as I read this little delight. Good writing.

Or you can break through it. That's a lot more fun. Great job with this, Ellen!
