What You Say and What I Claim

You see the words that you speak Aren't the words that I will greet In my head The difference is that I claim my victory No, I'm not trying to tell someone else's story This is my own I'm a poet, yes indeed I might make fresh rhymes but that doesn't mean that I have to take a puff of this weed I'm me Drugs and violence, that's what the record labels are sellin' But trust me they ain't really tellin' The after affects of their decisions And as I start to come to a conclusion on this poem I just want to let you know that you're never alone So why worry?
