Pat Adams Poet Rhyme

What You Got

She kept a close eye on her child
He had his fist close to his chest
An adorable smiling toddler
Hard to track but she did her best

Whenever he came close to her
She said, "What you got there sugar?"
He opened up his hand and smiled
And then said,"It's a booger!"
