What Would You Say

Tell me true this day, what would you say if I went away? Would you notice if I'm gone would it take my name to fade very long? Other names, faces too have slipped away unseen by me or you. Their epitaphs no more appear in news print all that passes as well, had their stint. The media holds little memory of who we were in history. The internet, face book, you tube sites have not memorialized our life's plights. Even twitter feeds temporarily fill presidential needs. Yet, if I go away in these final days who other than family prays? So what's left of who we were - pictures, words, images to decipher; only for those few who might recall we were here, trying to give our all. In the light of these final days tell me, now, what would you say?
