What Words Laid Yonder Way

What words laid yonder way?
that stirred my passion’s embrace
yet no words have come since then
no tears of emotion came, and came forth nay trace.

What thoughts laid in waiting
that morn by the dawn's early rays?
that cursed my mind’s attention
and left my soul in a phase.

is this not a simple question
yet no answer is given nor defin’ d
by any moment of expression lest
there within them, strangers find no purpose or meaning to be.

what hast thou given unto me
that possess me at strange times?
no noise comes passed my wordy mouth
no words to fit into certain rhymes

Yet I would find a way to write them down
and as with gloriousness during so I aggressed
Until the pages were full, all words that brought
joyous reprisal. Soon and final I was possessed

Like a devil taking any words in greed,
To ask for them from me would anger me so
until then had I only words, and sense
that equals a rabid animal, human I am. No

How dare yea
For who are you by my tongue
who keeps me from inspiration
and why the sudden care to take
me from, a poet’s writing temptation

Which you hast now taken from me
they words aspire me to do greater things
so well, they defined me. not inspired me
My admission was of vegrance against thee

so and so I hated thee for taking thy gift

who has seen the tide of laugher
weaving throughout my brain
that all evil in sudden awakening has ended
beginning its tumultuous escapade

still I speak with an open mind awaiting
something great, the gift from you
you so dearly taken from me, you’d give to me
you gave to me so many years ago.
