What Will I Do?..

just a weary mortal making my way
thru this place we call world

one of these days i wonder
if i will be able to see the
aura that burned so
bright ...
and how it pulled
you toward me

and i try,
and you know
i have....

then the pain,
yes the pain
gives me away

i want to love you like
the used to days

and i pray,
dear God, just give
me one more time
to sleep in your arms

i want to stop
the worry

to stop the pain

is it my life to keep on
being ill ? .... yet wanting with
ever fiber of my
body.....

just to dance.

yes, just to dance
one last time.

In God, there is always hope. I like the ending of this poem. Just keep on dancing even if it is just in your soul! Much to think about here. We all go through our challenges. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us and for your kind words regarding my poem. Keep on writing! Karen

What a huanting poem. I love the way it is constructed. Reading it, makes one think of falling downward through clouds. ~Peace~Gar Thank you for your kind reviews.
