What will be will be No pitter-patter of tiny, wee feet No building castles on a sandy beach No tiny hands for to lead and to hold No dressing up as maidens or knights bold. No kisses upon sweet soft downy heads No tucking up into warm cosy beds No nursery rhymes or stories to read No little one's hungry tummy to feed. No wounded soldiers with bruised or grazed knees No teaching how to say thank you or please No guiding girl to woman, boy to man No joys of grandchildren joining the clan. Belle, congrats tho I don’t quite get thebiting satire thing as this WAS my story too. Child onset diabetes stopped my pregnancy but when 39, we did adopted 2 SC brothers age2 &4, tow heads. But birthmom pulled in driveway when they were about 20 & took them back, in contact w/1 now, 4 grandkids xx

Thank you Paula, I’m afraid It’s too late in life to work with lots of children, having four sisters there were lots of children around back in the day and I had a good relationship with them, baby sitting, trips out etc. Have a blessed day/week yourself too. Belle

Che sera sera! We must make the best of what we have rather than waste resources on what we do not have. I am reminded of the little girl on AFV crying her heart out because she had a crack in her "butt" and wanted a butt without a crack! Che sera sera! Good write! Aloha! Rico
