What We Must Do

I have heard it said that poetry will outlast all the politicians Well - this is one poet who follows the political scene There have been politicians who wrote poems Abraham Lincoln and Eugene McCarthy come to mind I think poetry can change one's thinking if you let it into your soul The poetry in the Jewish prayer book and the poetry of Bob Dylan have influenced my thiniking I will vote this September Isn't that what they died for?
