What We Beg To Give

All we want is for our needs to not be mistaken for complacency. Or for our disability to not be taken as a lack of ambition. We would rather be martyrs. With our pain woven. Rather than trade autonomy for peace. We do not mean to cause discomfort with our dissatisfaction. We do not wish to hoard pity. Society takes what we beg to give. And blends it like a mild spice.
