What Use Was It

You always desired more money,
But then what use was it,
When you were never happy.
You always desired a luxurious car,
But then what use was it,
When you had no freinds.
You always desired a big bungalow,
But then what use was it,
When you had no family.
You always desired to be famous,
But then what use was it,
When you were never satisfied.
You always desired a pretty face,
But then what use was it,
When you had no heart.
You always desired more and more,
But then what use was it,
When you could never value what you had.
