What Today is a Walk in the Park

  
              A visit to the dentist                   
                once filled me with fear

              Vain hopes that my mouth 
                and lower mandible might disappear...

              Startled by the whine of the drill

That last bit…I experienced that in the Navy. Yup..they blindfolded me, then turned on the drill. Didn’t bother to give me notice as if I was the enemy. lol

Hi Gershon, no, definitely not on most people’s list of favorite things to do. I’ve had more fear of the dentist as an adult than I did as a child. Puzzling. Great penning! Shabbat Shalom :)
