Notes About The Poem

What To Do

Non so piú cosa fare
I don’t know what to do
War after war in the name of peace.
Well, the dead surely have peace.

But those, sent to kill them,
				do they?

Sure, the big shots in DC
or London or wherever,
they have their peace:
saving the world for democracy.

Killing for peace,
			but whose?
