What Poetry Means To Me

Poetry is my catharsis, my passion, my escape  

    The golden spoon which I use to stir souls

    Poetry means sharing my gift of creativity 

     To inspire, to purge, to reveal, to weave

          A tapestry of deeply felt emotions

    To lift the veil concealing my true essence

 Poetry means tossing my imagination in the air

      Letting it take flight like the bald eagle

 To wonderfully moonlit, or even dark, places

        To discover unforeseen epiphanies
