Mom in her apron to the kitchen goes; I watch her get out ingredients that she puts into rows. Bubbling in me is a child’s glee; no meagerness of eagerness! The oven door opens and closes. Love the smell of Pies!

I want to personally thank you for your entry in my contest. Interesting way to go with this one. Didn't most of us enjoy those days when mother did the cooking. I think sometimes about things that she did that were so delicious like three story pie and fried apple pies. Congratulations on your winner. Way to go. Sara K

I love all kinds of pies, though I evade a ricotta pie. Your poem is well written. Hugs.

Smell from the kitchen especially while baking things is so pleasant and tempting. The pie is mouth watering. I thought I must list five things I see in the first stanza and so on. So my poem sounds quite drab.

you really should write for this challenge. I love this kind of contest. Glad you liked my meagerness line. It's the only existing rhyme for eagerness!
