An early morning sunrise while hearing the birds sing When winter is finally over with the early signs of spring Gardening and planting flowers and seeing them bloom Watching the hummingbirds fly, as they zip and zoom A walk with my dog in the early morning hours of the day A call from a friend who I miss, since they moved away A surprise from the weather when seeing a beautiful rainbow Or enjoying the rare night viewing of the aurora borealis glow An afternoon of reading outside while watching the birds And escaping into the mystery book and its chilling words Listening to John Mayer music while driving in my car While going on excursions to new antique stores or a bazaar A trip to the ocean to hear the waves crash along the shore And feel my toes in the sand while watching seagull’s score A quiet night home with my husband watching a Netflix show A Friday workday when it’s almost the weekend and time to go
