What Keeps Me Going
My faith moves me
As much as it moves
Mountains
Past obstacles,
Past gargantuan roadblocks.
Sometimes,
I'm a stalled old jalopy
On a frenetically busy freeway,
Out of gas.
It's a challenge
To push ahead
When there's no one
To fuel your engine
With the magic phrase...
"Don't give up."
Words of encouragement
Give me the impetus
To keep propelling forward,
No matter how punishing
The journey.
