What It Means To Love
What it means to love?
To love means is not synonymous with
Heart breaking or bringing the brain.
Love is not measured in numbers of arguments,
Or togetherness of broken dishes experiences.
To love means is to be happy.
To glow in that person,
Not somebody else in your life,
You are paying attention with.
It's a joy from the phrases you say to each other.
It's a soul warmth that remains between you day after day.
It's that connection that keeps you from nonsense fights.
This is the feeling that makes you forget about others err,
Plunge into a new world, without despair and loneliness.
To love means is to sacrifice.
Sacrifice Myself, my Time, my Life for someone else.
To love means there is no selfishness,
Not the concept of "everything is just for me".
To love means is to be passionate,
Not burning jealousy and cold hugs.
To love means is knowing that if you die tomorrow
This person will not give you up,
But will remain by your side,
Until the last suffocating second.
