What It Can Be

Somehow I want my heart to shut down
To sabotage my way
To make the other in my life
expect what I'm to pay

To make my heart obey the head
that logic says is right
To take what all will come with it
when pain exists to right

That I myself don't know the truth
the heart betrays to me
When I myself who can't believe
knows just what it can be
