What Is Real

Reality, as I have come to know it,
Is where we are right now.
Reality is what is real;
It’s the ground we walk on,
The breeze we feel on our faces,
The hands we hold,
The hearts we love.
Reality.
Reality can be concrete or abstract,
But it has to be true, and it has to exist.
This, this is truth.
Truth and reality are not unrelated concepts.
Truth is conceptual reality.
It's when I tell my fiance I love him.
When, through tears, we tell a loved one a secret...
Truth.
Truth is when the Prophet of God speaks to the world
It is something that is,
that is valid, reliable, honest, sincere,
and often kind, loving, trusting, and clear.
Truth is real, and reality is true
Timeless whether old or new.

Juli, truth comes from one's heart, sometimes a heart gets broken when the truth comes out. But to be honestly truthful, I really enjoyed and liked this poem. So Cheers! Nice to meet you, stay well...Charlie
