What Is Love

Your lips seduce me Your eyes entrance me Your smile makes me catch my breath A symphony of love all rolled into one With a voice overflowing with love With seductive charm Your voice melts my heart I tremble at your tender touch The word “love” doesn't seem to do it justice There must be some other phrase Perhaps yet to be invented For thousands and thousands of years Poets have struggled to describe What humans have experienced for centuries Since the dawn of civilization And we are still searching In the meantime, the simple phrase, “I love you” will have to suffice It's been repeated an untold number of times It's still the ultimate expression of love

...reminds me of an old pop song....'only the good die young'.....and, your writing on the po-at-tree wall ('...die young') reflects your goodness....stan
