What Is Beautiful

Beautiful feet are free to go   
to places that they do not know
under God's control.
Distress endured, it helps them grow.
Beautiful feet are free to go
where punches roll.

Hands are considered beautiful
that freely work without a tool
to lessen strain.
God's enemies break all the rules;
hands are considered beautiful
that bear the pain.

Beautiful voices, keen to sing
hallowed lyrics with thanksgiving
sung to and fro
telling of strength that God can bring
to all who honor Him as King.
Fears they forgo.

inspired by Romans 10:15: "And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!"
