What If I Told You

What if I told you
You could have eternal life
What if I told you
God could end your strife
What if I told you
God could take away your night
What if I told you
He would bring you to the light
What if I told you
God would bring you new sight

Would you cry a thousand tears
And never be the same
Would you lose your every fear
And never be the same
Would you give up something dear
And never be the same
Would you give up drinking beer
And never be the same
Would you gain from every year
And never be the same

Would you kneel there at the cross
And let Jesus live in you
Would you let Him be the boss
And let Jesus live in you
Would you daily count the cost
And let Jesus live in you
Would you gain back all you lost
And let Jesus live in you
Have a heart full of warmth instead of frost
Ands let Jesus live in you

Well come to Jesus
And make Him your King
Let Him give you
Your life anew
Trust Him and love Him
And never be the same
