What If

I wonder what would happen
If all the churches were closed, and were padlocked,
And a sign placed on the doors:
“No more services will be held here, they must be stopped.”

If all in one day you lost
Your freedom to worship the way you desire.
Would you miss it very much,
Or would you be free then, to just retire?

Would you be willing to meet
Other Christians in secret, to worship underground,
To put your life on the line,
And hope in your heart, that you would not be found?

The opportunity exists, now,
To worship God and to be a witness, too.
The churches are still open.
Think about it, if they closed what would you do?
