What If

What if the world is but a
stage
and we are all just
actors?
And why couldn’t this idea
exist;
for we are probably nothing
more,
than a speck of
dust
upon a creature’s
fist.
And what if it wakes up one
day
and decides to take a
shower,
or blow us off into the
air
to land on a lily
flower?
If this were true then we would have
no say in the
matter;
and our world which is
so round
could easily become much
flatter;
and all the things we hold so
dear,
would suddenly mean
nil,
like beauty, politics, and
fear,
and the worth of a dollar
bill.
