What If

What if I never asked you why?
What if you answered me?
What if I got the courage?
What if you had said yes?
I shouldn’t be doing this.

Wondering
if it is really true.
But I shouldn’t be asking myself,
“Should I?”
My friends shouldn’t be telling me,
“This is your only chance.”

Because, if it really is,
then I don’t know what to do.

What if you say no?
What if.
Two simple words.
Can ruin, can give love to life.
But to me it’s only confusion.
