What If

What if silver stars are tears from God
They fall glowing from broken heart
We live hoping to go there one day
Growing older bolder needing more faith

What if the white wind is God’s sigh
Despite our sins He moves the sky
To usher in the seasons give us time
Red reasons to love live and learn life

What if our planet is in kindergarten
Not far from the Eden plants started
We say we want to go to first grade
But we haven’t learned how to play safe

YES! THIS! I have a deep seated belief that no matter what happens good or bad it will always be to my benefit. I also believe that no matter where I'm at it is the right time and the right place for me to be. To what purpose is unclear, perhaps to teach, perhaps to learn, perhaps to help or be helped. Some say Gods' purpose for us is unclear, I believe that purpose is personal growth and you have encapsulted it quite well.

Nice... And what if we are connected to the Divine Source, so that we no longer need to say 'What if?!'

Dear karen, i always love “ what if “ poems and this one is so soulful and flows with light and depth! I absolutely love the opening line , made me think, yes what if stars were tears? You should print that out and hang that as a quote! A moving poem this is! Pleasure reading you today! Sending you light always

When I see what us humans are doing to each other I ask what God would be foolish enough to create us, I am also shocked at the silence of so many :(, This is however a lovely poem.

Thank you Arthur. Yes we are not kind to each other but we are foolish not God.
