What If

Sometimes you don't know what,
You had until it's gone.
Then you wonder about it.
What could have been,
If things could have been,
Completely different.
Maybe a different time or place.
We could have made it better.
I have to look in the mirror,
Staring at a complete stranger,
And decide what is best for me,
For my sanity,
For my reality,
So that I can breathe again.
