What I Love-What I Hate

~~~ What I Love ~~~
My little angel so sweet and so loving, she is always making me very happy. Her long silky and soft fur I love brushing, with a pretty and huge smile never wacky. Her million dollar kisses I always wear, going shopping and riding in the big car. Cool breeze running through the window and our hair, singing to the radio with a loud cheer.
~~~ What I Hate ~~~
All public bathrooms really make me mad, only luke warm air and a noisy dryer. No paper towels makes me so very sad, need paper towels ~ guess must call an umpire. Warm air blow dryers will not wipe a child face, what kind of a dysfunctional bathroom place? We all need a choice for me paper towels, paper towels they all flew away like owls.

Your dog sounds really sweet. I used not to be a 'dog person', but that all changed with my daughter's little dog. Now I'm catching up and enjoying all the dogs (nearly all). Such good company (sleeping now because I'm up way too late reading poems!) J :)

This poem helped us to get to know you a little bit better with your likes and your pet peeves! I agree with the paper towel choice! I know that when I’ve been out of theater sometimes I’ve walked out and gotten the napkins to dry my hands off.

The first part gives a happy picture of your life with your dog and the beautiful moments you spend with it. What you have said in the second part is so very relatable to me. I too hate public toilets. I don't mind if they are clean with enough water, even if the paper towels are missing. Just a matter of cultural difference. The humour inherent in the poem has made me smile. Beautiful poem, dear Paula.

Dear Paula, This one made me smile big time! I love how you captured such pure joy in the little everyday moments with your “little angel” the brushing, the kisses, the car rides. It’s so warm and relatable. The bathroom rant? Hilarious and perfectly dramatic! You’ve got such a fun way of mixing sweetness with humor, it really brings the poem to life. Autumn Blessings, Dear Paula, Daniel

Yeah, it's kind of hard to wipe a child's face with a blow dryer (lol). Great entry, Paula. Best wishes for a win in the contest! Have a nice week!
