What I Love and What I Hate

I love the call of the most glorious hope,
and of every beautiful tomorrow.
I love the clean scent of lavender soap,
That washes away every single sorrow.

I love the tingling of little girls giggling,
and the softest breeze inside my hair, niggling.
and the feeling of love deep inside my heart,
and the pumping of the blood before you start.

***

I hate the hell of unstable, biased hate,
I despise a conflict between two sisters.
and the tears of young children triggered by fate.
and hot words on skin that sizzle like blisters.

I hate the voice inside my mind, insulting,
I hate the heart in pain, constantly bolting.
I loathe the ceasless conscience inside my soul,
I hate days when I feel like I hate it all-

outstanding dichotomy you've addressed in your poem. I especially liked I love the clean scent of lavender soap, That washes away every single sorrow. This poem is a solid contest contender

Emotion and sincerity mix so much in this. I appreciate the end. One day all will absolve itself in light and it has to- we have no choice. Makes me sleep easier. Best, :)
