What I Found When I Looked At Art
I was on a date
at a park in the city
when we turned the corner and realized - too late!
what a shocking sight we would come to see
a woman enamored with a flower
sprawled in the field
her tongue exploring its depths
with no modesty, no shield
pollen covered her face
and coated her blouse, now yellowed lace
she moaned as if the flower was adept
at kissing
we stood there in shock
not turning away, not missing
any of the bizarre details
"it must smell amazing"
said my date
with a chuckle
though he looked somewhat irate
I softly bit my knuckle
to suppress my own laughter
we eventually walked on
quickly dismissing the matter
and soon the confusion, bewilderment
from our minds was gone
