An oldie poem modified for the contest.

All earthy lives still have to die. I believe that's what's meant to be though man and science question why. We celebrate the joys of life. I believe that's what's meant to be - conversely, we don’t welcome strife. We grieve to see loved ones pass on. I believe that's what's meant to be, yet always there appears new dawn. We praise the dawn; it’s a new day. I believe that's what's meant to be whether our days be bright or grey. Day in, day out, our world’s turning I believe that's what's meant to be; for dreams to be – hearts keep yearning. We’re born; we age; this earth we’ll leave I believe that's what's meant to be, but souls move on! And THIS I strongly believe! Submitted 12/14/22 for the Contest of Angela Tune: What I Believe

Everything is within the scheme of things as planned and our life on earth is ephemeral. But the soul will live on. I too share your belief system.... Andrea !

Yes, our souls come and go, but where they go is certainly heavenly (we hope-lol) Nicely done, Andrea. Best wishes in the contest. Hugs :)
