What Happened

What happened between us?
You were so sweet 
You had my back 
Where did that go?

First we were solid
Then what did I do?
Why did you do it?
Why? Why? Why?

I can’t answer those questions
Neither can you.
No one can
You don’t know why

Or at least you’re not telling me
You hide things from me
I hide things from you
When did this happen

One second we were solid 
Then the next 
We didn’t know each other
What happened?

What happened between us?
We have never been able to ask that
I just want answers
Then I’ll go
