What Happened?

You once looked in my eyes with adoration
Now you look at my body with something else.
You once whispered pure, loving words to me
Now you just tell me what you want to do to me when we get home.
Being with you was once fun
Now I feel like you only hang out with me to try to do things.
I once thought you were the kind of guy I would marry
Now I don't even think I want to date you.
I once thought you genuinely loved me for who I was with my clothes on
Now I feel like you only wanted me so you could see me with my clothes off.
I once thought that when we would do things, it was out of love
Now I feel dirty and rotten with lust and disgust for what I have done.
For what I have let you do.
Every kiss feels wrong and gross.
Every time your hands slide lower than they should, I can feel myself slowly becoming more and more sick with sin.
Everything I do with you feels wrong.
Like it needs to be kept secret.
Like I am doing something I shouldn't be.
And I continue to let you do it.
Because I don't want to give you up.
I don't want to give up the guy I had made you up to be in my mind.
So I will continue to come home with a sick taste in my mouth.
And it will always feel wrong.
