What Fascinates Me

On one sleepless night, I'm being favored and gifted With a most beautiful sight. Oh, how true indeed! The heavens declare God's glory! Information about an eclipse had escaped My attention, and I never saw it coming. The aging process forced me out of bed, After which I could not return to sleep. So, I got up And started to browse some news and Poetry Soup. Inadvertently, I discovered that there was to be a Luna eclipse. This always interests me greatly. So I proceeded to explore the heavens at around 130AM. Realizing that I was in for a celestial treat, I grabbed a pen, A 'post it pad', and pulled up a chair on my front lawn. There Was a bright and full moon, and by 330AM, it was 3/4 eclipsed. With shades, it was a red quarter moon, and all the surrounding sky Was starless and dark. At 352AM, it was approaching a full eclipse. Without shades, I could not see red colors. At 4AM, it was near Total eclipse, And I noticed a falling asteroid at 410AM. At 420AM, I saw 'Big Red' with a Little bright white at the very top looking like a dome. Without sun glasses At 433AM, it appeared to be coming out of totality. At 502AM, as it was Coming out of total eclipse, the red coloring could be Seen with shades. I noticed that my wife was now up, and although she is not fascinated by These kinds of things, I convinced her to see her first Luna Eclipse. At 525AM, The Red Moon seems full and huge, but is partially blocked from View by trees as it descends beneath the horizon, giving way to a sunrise*. Big Red, Earth, and Sun blessed us with another God-ordained spectacle. 5/26/21. Entered PSCtest, Fascination and Awe |, Jeff Kyser *Westcoast Sunrise at 545 *Westcoast Sunrise at 545
