What Ever Happened To Right Here Right Now

A phone call
Is too fast and stingy
It won't give me time
To imagine How we'd cry
How we'd laugh
Just to make it last
 Beyond the grasp of
Infinity and beyond

Chirping is for the birds
Sounds to me
Like that just leaves
Out the bees

All the e-mails and text messages
Are a bit excessive
Less effective

I live in the joy of your voice
That ignites life
Words spaced and typed
Are breathless

Whats the rush
Time is
One thing that you can bet will never stand still

If you just happen to want to wait a minute
It won't stop child
Whats going to be is gonna be
   Walk or run
Even something as high and mighty as the sun
Has it's ups and downs

So where does that leave
You & Me
               or is it Uyou -n-I,eye?
               WE AND us?!
