What Else, Lord

WHAT ELSE, LORD?
"I live by faith in the Son Of God" Galatians 2:20

The year began with a blizzard,
Ice, snow and cold.
Weren't certain we would survive,
This long winter is getting old.

Damage to the house,
Old man winter is mad.
Where will we get the money,
Repairs are needed bad.

The car breathed its last,
Repairs not worth the cost.
Must be replaced,
Right now we feel lost.

My good friend just died,
Gone to meet his Lord.
No more lunches or chats,
Thankfully he lived the Word.

Thunderstorms early this year,
Flooding everywhere.
We've never had such rains,
Must have help to care.

Lawn and flowers gone,
Roots flooded by the wet.
Professionals say let it be,
Autumn now the best bet.

Lightning struck the tree,
Branches cover the lawn.
Another heartache Lord,
When will the hurt be gone?

I prefer faith over other blessings,
Hope abounds in prayer.
What else Lord,
For we know that You are there.
