What doesn't kill you

What doesn’t kill you
Makes you wish you were dead
I try to live in the moment
But there’s these thoughts in my head

What doesn’t strangle you
Makes you wish you didn’t breathe instead
What doesn’t hurt you
Makes you want to hurt yourself instead

What they don’t see
Is in your head
(They say) You’re going crazy
What you don’t say stays unsaid

If they don’t believe it
It can’t be true
‘cause they are the standard
That everything must go through

This is so well written and relatable to many who are tethered to certain thoughts. Nicely done, Deyja.
