What Does the Fox Say

naughty cat says,  “nowww”
clever fox replies, “yak, yak”
both peed  the mouse’ trap.

cock crows, “tick—morrow”
fox says, “hope no more sorrow”
get Cupid’s arrow.

cow says, “boo, boo, boo”
still, fox retorts, “go go go”
don’t give up  fellow.
