What Does Love Mean To You
What does love mean to you?
It may mean never having to settle
Your heart never turning blue
Their love giving one an unbreakable mettle
To me it means her smile making my day
Her very look of an angel of love
To which I pray
For her soul is as gentle as a dove
To me it means a kiss on the forehead
Saying I'll protect her from the devil himself
I'll fight for her till I am dead
This is an act of sheer love in and of itself
To me it means her lifting me
For when I am weak she rejuvenates my bones
Her love shining through for all to see
That when I am happy everyone knows
To me it means her challenging me to be the best
The potential that burns inside
She makes me better than the rest
With her my confidence cannot hide
To me it means the minutes away from you hurt
Wanting to feel your skin and lips
Their taste sweeter than any dessert
My heart aching for you and doing flips
To me it means you and I
Sitting in each others arms
Our love making us both high
Both loving each others charms
