What does it Mean when Seen on a Screen?

Merely a photograph on a screen, not even a piece of paper that can be held, gently, or even gripped with passion, kissed. Yet I gaze and say: Yes, it belongs, belongs in my eyes, heart, brain. I see now the place that I haven't seen for five long years. Will I go back? Sniff, gaze again at the actuality, not a piece of light on a screen, not even that piece of paper? (29 Jan 2024)
