What Do You Do

What do you do when nothing feels right
Do you do nothing, or do you fight
How can you be happy when it feels wrong
And you drown your emotions in a song

What do you do when you feel alone
When it seems everyone else is on a throne
How do they have kings, queens, and friends
When you see the world through a telescope lens

What do you do when your are trapped in yourself
When you put your feelings on too high a shelf
You can’t reach them, so you are bitter and cold
Everyone else seems plated in gold

What do you do when you want to die
Tears in your eyes looking up to the sky
Wondering what you could have changed
How you got to be so deranged

What do you do when you want to live
When you simply have nothing to give
Please someone tell me, I don’t care who
But I need to know, what do you do

You keep on fighting as tough as it may be. I know it sounds cliche but we have to believe things will get better. I really liked your poem. It's thought provoking and really well written. A fav.

Thank you. Some things are cliche for a reason, most of the time its because they work, and I'm glad you liked the poem.
