"what Do Our Souper's See?"

It would be nice to see from every ones window...
The views you have from sunset to a morning glow...
How the seasons change from warm to cold...
The sunrays peaking over the trees to behold...
The snowflakes dancing on your porch perhaps...
Or the sound of rain in spring as you sneak a nap...
Maybe you live in building that touches the sky...
Or a flat field that grows blueberries for pie...
Could even be the sound of traffic with horns and people...
Even a small cottage with the view of a church and steeple...
Either way it would be nice to see where are friends on soup
live and breathe....

Yes indeed....I have thought that same thought so many times! I'm sure it would give us a glimpse as to why and where their poetry orginates! Well said!! ~ Carrie

Oh yes, I'd love to know people's surroundings. So often their inspiration is derived from the views outside their own windows. Wouldn't it be nice to learn more about each member's home? It would certainly help us interpret their writing. Well said, my friend. Love, Carolyn

I'll have to try to post a picture of what I see next spring when the tulips and daffodils are in bloom. I rent my land out to bulb farmers. the mountains in the distance make a pretty frame for them. Thank you for your comments on my poem. Love, Joyce

yup, maybe we should start like an "upper track railway" so we can travel from coast to coast staying with friends from soup? In the summer time in the US there are special train and bus fares which are very low & let you go cross country, you pay by the number of zones you wish to travel through and for x amount of days. What cha think? You can stay over a night or 2 with me. Light & Love

Yes indeed Michael, what do the soupers see? Our place and town is nothing like beauty. I do wish we had them flat fields that grow blue berries. Enjoyed your poem,..p.d.
